This singletrack trail is best ridden top to bottom, but is also a good route going up. This is the main trail that has access to the national forest via Sage.

You'll find that this is one of the more enjoyable ascents in the Angel Fire area. If one continues up to the right from the end of the trail, staying left on Via Del Rey, they will find the National Forest gate that accesses Ho Chi Min Trail.

This is the primary trail that accesses Trail 1 in the National Forest, which is one of the best out-and-back trails that we have in the area. Parking at the trailhead is minimal; just be sure not to park in the road and block traffic.
