Family Friendly This wide, flat and paved path is the perfect easy option for families. The views are incredible!

The western section from Hermit's Rest to just before the path stops paralleling Hermit Road to head towards Pima Point is not open to bikes. Bikes are allowed on the section of the Hermit Road Greenway from Pima Point to the Monument Creek Vista.

Description

The Hermit's Road section of the Greenway Trail is a true gem. The only trail in Grand Canyon that is open to bikes, this trail has some of the best viewpoints of the Grand Canyon that you can see from the South Rim.

This gentle path has very little change in elevation making it an easy cruise. The scenery is wonderful and on a quiet day from Pima Point you can hear the Colorado crashing through Granite Rapid far below.
