A short and steep singletrack that is a little overgrown and rough, sometimes we like it like that!

Description

Carl Gulch Trail is two steep descents with a short climb in the middle. This is a fun trail to throw in if you are running early season Wagonhammer shuttles off of the Sheep Creek Road.

The upper mile of the trail drops 750' through large Douglas-fir trees. The lower mile drops another 1200' on singletrack that runs through occasional thick grass and onto some sections of steep old road cut.

The trail can be hard to follow toward the bottom but just hug the edge of the hillside until you get to the USFS compound.
