Overview

This route adds a bit of distance to the base singletrack loop on the Amphitheater Park Trail at the Tippecanoe County Amphitheater Park. After first entering the doubletrack section, watch for the Amphitheater Park Trail clearing angling off to your right. Alternate right and left turns to jump back and forth between the doubletrack and the clearing, and eventually rejoin the singletrack to complete the ride.

Description

Park in the main lot, then enter the singletrack near the kiosk at the southwest corner of the lot. Follow the trail down the hill and across a couple gravel roads, and stay right at the first trail junction to wind through a flat wooded section that ends at a doubletrack dirt road.

After entering the doubletrack section, watch for a grassy clearing angling off to your right. Alternate right and left turns to jump back and forth between the doubletrack and the clearing, and eventually rejoin the singletrack to complete the ride.

The trail is extremely muddy and slick, with most of the trail saturated with water. 6mi — 0h 47m

First mountain bike ride ever. Great experience. Surprisingly fun trail for being packed in a small space.
