This trail, part of the Continental Divide Trail (CDT), is really a road but it looks like singletrack in spots. It is good for a workout even if not technical. The nearby Salazar Trail #14 is much more interesting.

Note the USFS map is incorrect. It shows a route that crosses the fence 1000 feet south along the highway, then bushwhacks up the creek. The new trailhead is a large flat area off the highway. The entrance drops along the bank steeply so it is easy to overlook.
