DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multi-use, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and other cyclists. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze/thaw during the winter.

Description

There are a few rollers at the beginning, but then the trail tightens up and the turns get quicker. The descent it twisty and winding and gets progressively steeper going from south to north to connect from Sky Valley Road to Rifle.

This might be my favorite trail in DuPont so far. It has a great flow that will have you grinning if riding it downhill. Awesome trail! 14.4mi

Super fun and flowy, a little bit less groomed and more technical than ridgeline. Good opportunities to get some flight time.
