Access to the Lake Carl Blackwell area is fee based: $5 daily or $50 annually.

Description

This trail begins south of the Fox Run Campground Parking Area. Look for two trail signs warning equestrian riders to stay off the trail. This is your invitation to explore Lake Carl Blackwell's first mountain bike specific trail.

Travel clockwise for nearly four miles of rolling flow sections, tough off-camber climbs, and punchy descents. The Original Loop Trail connects to the Dual Slalom Course, followed by the Dual Slalom Exit to allow riders to complete the Lake Carl Blackwell Loop back to the parking area.

The park contains over 60 miles of horse trails and the mountain bike trail crosses active horse trails in several locations. They are well-marked, but please use caution.
