Description

This popular urban trail is one of the newer sections of the Illinois Prairie Path added to supplement the original three branches.

It begins from an intersection with the Fox River Trail next to the river in Batavia, IL. Accessing the west side is easy from the Clark Island Recreation Area or Glenwood Park.

From either of these locations, the trail heads casually southeast along a tree-lined corridor between fields and neighborhoods. The last mile is spent paralleling US 88 before reaching the trail's end in a junction with the Illinois Prairie Path - Aurora Branch.
