Description

This trail makes up the south edge of the South Dale Ball spiderweb of trails. If heading south/southeast at marker 39, you'll be immediately confronted with a daunting climb that does not let up after a dogleg turn to the left. Keep climbing past the power lines, and it will start to ease up.

Soon, you'll have the option to take a sharp left to an overlook at the top of the large foothill you are climbing. Take it, the view is awesome!

If you'd rather not take this detour you can continue on for a bit where the detour comes back down. Shortly thereafter, you'll come to marker 40 where you'll have a multitude of options to consider.
