Description

From the end of Saddle Trail West #841, #842 whips east heading through open grassland land burned in the Lefthand Fire. This stark landscape provides the perfect backdrop to this fun trail. As it descends, Trail #842 works its way into more dense forest, all the while providing riders with multiple technical spots; all of which are rideable.

As the trees thicken, the grade steepens. From here, the trail provides a straight shot to its terminus, but not without throwing a few more rock gardens your way.

Riding in the barren landscape on Trail #842 is surreal.

The singletrack here is narrow and deep; don't ride out of the rut!

This is actually a good - if short - DH run. Nothing technical but steep and in your face, with lots of flat corners that keep you on the brakes, ...
