Description

The Peruvian Gulch Trail is an access dirt road that runs up the easternmost aspect of Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort. It climbs 2,400 feet to the 11,000 foot summit of Hidden Peak. Access begins off of Bypass Road.

The road climbs steadily. Over the first two miles, steep climbs with grades up to 20% are followed by short periods where the road levels for a bit. At mile 0.9, Rothman Way intersects.

Beginning at mile 2, the road climbs steadily and steeply for the last mile and a half. Beautiful views over the Snowbird Resort and Little Cottonwood Canyon can be appreciated on this trail.

Two-way traffic and hikers can be encountered on this trail. Yield appropriately.
