Description

Once an area attraction, Tater Knob Fire Tower is now closed due to--ironically--a fire. However, this trail remains and it allows riders to follow a loop on the south side of the ridge when combined with the Crossover Trail (107). There's a steep descent to the valley floor from Zilpo Scenic Byway that passes the Tater Knob Fire Tower.

As of spring 2017, it's in need of some maintenance (downed trees) but efforts are underway to reopen the legal mountain bike trails on this side of the lake, including this one.
