Description

Starting from the junction of the Briones Crest Trail and Spengler Trail, this trail provides an alternate route east of the Briones Crest Trail with nice views over the Diablo Valley to Mt. Diablo. A wide fire road, it follows the ridge top in a roller coaster fashion with a few steeper drops and climbs. At the north end, it reconnects with Briones Crest Trail with a short steep connector section back to Spengler Trail.
