Description

This primitive dirt road starts a steady one-mile ascent that steepens as it climbs. Those who love climbing will be able to drop gears and make it without issue. Less fit, or more casual riders may find it hard to make it without stopping. Next there's a quarter-mile of pretty level pedaling before the climbing continues gradually up to the Solar Coaster Connector.

From the road, riders can enjoy views of the snowcapped Rubies to the west and higher Pequops to the south (additional rides) in sage, mountain mahogany and pinyon pine. Meadows of arrow leaf balsam in the spring. Although uncommon to spot, elk, deer, antelope, cougar, and wild horses have all been seen here. Water for your dog near the top.
