Non-motorized vehicles only, road are private and go through rural subdivision so be respectful of property owners.

Overview

A fun, rocky, sandy, and at times challenging loop through many of the La Bota Ranch trails.

Need to Know

The trailhead has a sign marked "no trespassing, private property" but biking is permitted. There's a bike repair station at the trailhead with tools, pump, etc. The area is very open with little shade so choose when your ride wisely and stay hydrated.

Description

This one starts off from a cul-de-sac in a subdivision. Then things get interesting and fun, with some climbing, obstacles, and lots of loose rocks. There are a lot of jeep trails in the area for those wanting an easier ride. The trails are pretty well-marked.

The ride crosses a small creek and a climb past a fence to begin the singletrack. Expect a fun, flowy start which later becomes looser and rocky with more climbs and descents.

There are some challenging spots but nothing too bad and some exposed, narrow areas that are fun to ride. A few descents that end in turns and another final climb at the three-mile mark with rocky ledges to traverse.
