Many small height differences and curves make it an interesting and playful track, while at low speeds it is easy to follow and safe.
Be careful on Saturdays: You may meet scouts on the track (all seasons) as well as runners (especially from November-April). Twice a year, the local tour club organizes an MTB tour in this area. Some parts of the trail of that event runs in the opposite direction of this trail. See ntfu.nl for the exact dates.
Description
Signs: Blue (two circles below a triangle)
Parking: Sports park Molenven (near the athletics track of H.A.C.).
A nice, hilly trail with many small height differences. The track leads through the woods that passes various areas of moorland and fens. This area was formed during the last ice age. This created the small height differences.
The ground is mostly hard sand with roots sticking out now and then. The small stretch of road at the south near the highway may be soft sand in the summer. After a rainy day, there may be some small muddy areas, but nothing serious.
At the most southern point of the route starts the
Connection Trail Nuenen that leads you to the Nuenen -
Gulberg Route.
