The trail runs through the forest of Vressel. It has a short part along a small local river called the Dommel. Also, you'll find part of the track around a small lake called Hazenputten. These are the most beautiful parts of the trail. For the rest, it is mostly forest, and some smaller parts over local roads.

The trail basically consists of three loops. At the roads where the loops are connected, the trail runs in both directions. The roads are sufficiently wide to pass bikers going in the opposite direction. These connection points are also places where you can easily shorten the ride.

The Papenvoortse Heide to Vresselse Bos Connector provides a nice spot to enter this loop along the southeast side if you're not arriving by vehicle.
