This short loop trail travels along the ridge of a small canyon, around a foothill, and back to provide access to the longer Cholla Loop. T&C gives users just a sampling of all that the Dolan Springs Trail System has to offer. Traveling counterclockwise, there is a short, rocky, technical segment with a steep climb and descent that leaves you in a sandy wash surrounded by large Joshua Trees, cholla, and yuccas. Once you get out of the wash, you can continue onto the Cholla Loop or take a gradual twisting climb back to the main trailhead.
