Description

Connects from 230 and 230A to make full route from Coldwater Lake to Mt. Margaret and beyond.

A few technical and steepness challenges you will likely have to walk. Snow patches often into early July, but generally fine earlier if you don't mind walking across a bit of snow. Best when damp from rain or snow-melt since surface is loose in places.

Among most spectacular views of any trail in the region, including multiple mountains and lakes. In fall you may hear elk bugling and find plentiful huckleberries.
