Tusher Tunnel - 3D Jeep Loop

Starting at the Tusher Canyon parking area, this route primarily follows the 3D Jeep Route. Look for the 3D stickers on signs and brown carsonite signposts to follow the route. The trail is a lollipop shape and is recommended in a clockwise loop from the intersection at Bartlett Wash Rd.

Leave the parking area and head west, following Mill Canyon Rd for 2.1 miles. At an intersection with a wash, turn left and continue west on a sandy road (3D Jeep Road) that starts to climb. (This section is very sandy during the driest parts of the year. You can use Tusher Wash Rd to the north to avoid this section.)

After 0.7 miles, turn right and start following signs for the 3D Jeep Road. Along this stretch of the ride, you'll see a sign for Tusher Tunnel. It is a 0.25-mile detour to a natural wind cave.

Once at Bartlett Wash Road, turn left and continue following the 3D Jeep Route. This section of the route is a clockwise lollipop loop that is 16.4 miles long taking you along Bartlett Wash Road to Dubinky Well Rd.

From there, turn right and follow Hidden Canyon Rim Rd to Tusher Wash Rd. Turn right on Bartlett Wash Road and then left on the 3D Jeep Road to ride back to the beginning of the loop.

As an option, you can follow Tusher Wash Road to Mill Canyon Road to return to the trailhead.
