Closed in the winter for big game Nov. 1st - April 30th.
Overview
This lollipop ride is steep, flowy, beautiful, and a great break from the crowds at Red Hill and Prince Creek.
Need to Know
Could run into tons of cows at some point throughout the year.
Description
The loop starts off of Cattle Creek Road and climbs the steep
County Road 64 (steepest part of the route). This road is generally smooth and climbable.
This leads to a gate, where the
Fisher Creek trail goes around to the right. Climb up to the old ranchers homestead and take a left on the
Fisher Creek Connector and climb up to an old cemetery. Continue on County Road 62 up to Red Canyon Road and take a right. Ride the pavement for a few miles to the east and turn south, heading downhill. Look for the
Fisher Creek access to the right (west) and the easternmost end of the
Fisher Creek trail to loop back west towrad the start.
The section of
Fisher Creek that heads south is a spur/dead-end, though you can exist south on
BLM Road 8292A to head back to Cattle Creek Road 113.
