Description
Lowrider begins where the
Sunbridge Hills Conservation Area main loop turns south. Everyone that has visited the trails knows that if you don't turn south you could ride to the north on a trail that has been there for ages. It is an impressive scenic overlook. The trail splits where it gets steep. Either side will do but I highly recommend the right side as it is the easiest.
The steep chute takes you down to a flat(ish) area where you need to go right. After a wallride switchback down into a little valley, Lowrider will be following the property line of Nomad Bluffs for the remainder of this descent. Nomad Bluffs has public use trails in this area. One of which provides access to Luketah Falls.
As you continue DH on Lowrider, you can go all the way to the road to access Nomad Bluffs trails. However, watch for the bench cut climbing the hill to the left to continue on Lowrider. Now you'll be heading south. There aren't any navigation issues for the rest of the trail. There are a few connections to Highrider North along the way and several downhill runs. Lowrider is always the lower route to the right until reaching Jeckyl & Hyde.
As trail users notice the remnants of an old building on the side of the hill, watch for downhill riders from Fall Guy. Randy's Rock is on the right at the Fall Guy intersection. Immediately south of Fall Guy and Randy's Rock is another connector trail leading up to Highrider North. This one is the Session Rock connector trail. It's the connector that you wanna Use from the bottom of Fall Guy back to the main Sunbridge trail. However, Lowrider stays right and descends gradually until it actually intersects the south end of Highrider North very close to the end of
Bipolar. Lowrider continues south past
Bipolar and, eventually, enters River Bluff Trails Park. There it continues south where many downhill runs feed into it. Eventually, Lowrider intersects Jeckyl & Hyde. Turn left there and start a gradual climb to a limestone overhang before one final climb to the 7-Point intersection in River Bluff Trails Park. Watch for DH riders approaching from
Sour Skittles and
Almond Joy after the Jeckyl & Hyde intersection.
