Description

This trail used to only allow hiking but bikes are allowed now. It's best to ride this along with Ike's Hike and Bike Trail ("Eisenhower Trail") by parking near the swim beach and finding the trail head at trail post 1 and riding the entire Ike's Hike and Bike Trail ("Eisenhower Trail") and when you finish that section you will be at a paved road which you cross and start the the Armadillo Hill section by climbing some rock steps and heading east. It's got several old water bars in erosion prone areas that it make fun (or challenging) for the climbs/descents. When you finish you will be at trail post 1 (which also has parking lot if you wanted to park there and only try out the Armadillo Hill section) now turn around and head back to trail post 14. The trail is two way traffic.
