The trail is relatively smooth with some fun easy curves. There is only one moderate climb, and all along the trail you get nice views of the open meadows. You usually see deer in these fields.
Description
The trail starts 0.1 miles down the Cotton Tail Trail from the parking area. The trail splits to the left and immediately goes into a short dip that turns left at the bottom and right at the top. It then skirts a large open field following a tree line and winding back-and-forth. The trail splits, turns left and heads north to follow another tree line. However, if you go right on the shortcut, you can bypass the hills of Meadow View and get out to the bulk of the park trails much faster.
After following the tree line north, Meadow View turns east and cuts across a large open field where you always see herds of deer in the last hour before sunset. Then the trail climbs a moderate incline for about 50 yards and winds up and down for the next quarter mile before dropping and going into a series of fun wide switchback curves. The trail ends with a moderate climb to where it connects with Tung Nut Trail.
