Thunder Mountain received a face lift during the 2016/17 season with over 75% of the trail being completely rerouted now containing well-constructed, rock-armored berms and technical features. The overall nature of the trail is a rolling up and down trail with a number of technical and rocky sections that will challenge advanced and expert riders. There are also a few off-camber slick rock segments. If you want to bypass the steep expert section, you can take Andante.
