Description

This trail starts off the forest road and can be shuttled. For a shuttle, park at the top of Devil's Gulch trailhead, and ride up the forest road a few miles to the trailhead. Driving to the trailhead is also possible, but the road is in worse shape past Devil's Gulch TH, and may be closed.

The top of the trail runs across quite a few really loose rock gardens that have been made bad by motorcycle traffic. It might be more fun to start at the saddle point about 1.5 miles down the trail where Devil's Gulch trail intersects with Mission Ridge. Once you pass Mission Ridge, there is a bit of an uphill climb to the top of the ridge. It then splits the top of the ridge with some tight single track, and a few small drops and technical sections. It can sometimes be really loose and sandy due to motorcycle traffic.

Don’t do the top; loose rocks and not so fun.
