Need to Know

Pine needle covered trails are quite slippery when very dry.

Description

The most fun running counter-clockwise (as mapped). Most of the trail is fast since the woods are more open. It starts with a flat section of straighter trail and more open corners leading to a nice downhill that passes the entrance to Hidden Rise before bottoming out and rising back up a little higher than the start.

The trail wraps around a few big oak trees; go between a few and then go down a larger hill than most (for this park). It is fast and fun. Then you go back up the hill, half way down, and then back to the top. Once up top, most of the rest of the trail is in pine trees with pine needle-covered trail without too much elevation change.
