Need to Know

There are some trees along the way but they do not shade the path itself, so make sure you have plenty of water and sunblock!

Description

This is a super pretty segment leading to Hogsett Trailhead. This leg starts near a low water crossing and a junction where you can head towards Panther Island, Marine Creek, the Stockyards, and any number of points along the Trinity Trails. There's both a wide smooth concrete track and a crushed limestone track for you to choose from, though the concrete path is closer to the river. There are a few benches and some shade trees along the path to Hogsett, then there's a trash can and water fountain including low dog bowl close to the trailhead. At the trailhead itself you'll find benches and trees, though no restroom.

The Trinity Trails system consists of over 70 miles of trails connecting multiple neighborhoods and parks, encompassing trailheads, water fountains, low water crossings, kayak launches, equestrian and gravel trail segments.
