Description
Do you like rocks served with a side of rockgnar that starts off with a tasty rockatizer? If so, this is the trail for you! Posse's Club is named for a now-closed establishment formerly located around the corner from the park and is one of the two black diamond trails found at Tannery Knobs. The trail has multiple line choices. Some lines rollable, some not, but the entire trail is rollable if you want it to be. The trail is demanding technically and requires focus to ensure a clean ride till the end. Look before you ride is good advice on this one especially on the initial drop-in.
The beginning of the trail starts directly adjacent to the
Mountain Express entrance with a blind drop into a steep rocky turn followed by several rock ledges that can be rolled, dropped, or doubled into the next rocky roller. The trail makes its way quickly down the hill with rock section after rock section eventually coming to a steep section of the trail that was left uncut intentionally. After that, you'll pass a narrow section turning slightly left where you have an optional rock drop line on the upper right section of the trail. The trail ends shortly after that and finishes near the bottom of
Chairlift just after the first switchback.
Like all the trails at Tannery Knobs, you'll see trail qualifiers within the first one hundred yards of each trail. Trail qualifiers give riders a glimpse of what to expect on the respective trail so they know what you are getting yourself into from the start.
