This route starts at the northernmost point and ends at the southernmost point of the Parco Regionale di Montevecchia e della Valle del Curone. It is the route with the greatest portion of singletrack among the official long distance routes in the park.

The first third of the route traverses the more hilly northern reaches of the park and includes some interesting singletrack. Part of route mapped here in this first third deviates slightly from the official route 101 to avoid a segment that is only open for hikers.

At the end of a steep descent at 4.5 km (2.8 mi), the route joins the Torrente Curone (stream), which it follows to the terminus. Thus begins the second third of the route, which is characterized by dense forest. Initially, this potion of the route is on forest roads, but transitions to easy singletrack down by the river.

The final third begins when you reach the main road SP45. Here, the route still follows the Torrente Curone along a hodge-podge of singletracks and farm roads to the outskirts of Lomagna. The terrain in this final third of the route is primarily agricultural fields.
