The Mendota Trail is a 12.5-mile Rail Trail project. Plenty of parking is available at each trailhead. The entrance to the Bristol Trailhead is adjacent to 1788 Island Rd. in Bristol, VA.

The southern portion of the trail starts in Bristol and ends at Reedy Creek Rd. The northern portion starts in rural Mendota, VA and ends at the North Fork of the Holston River. Visit The Store (opposite the trailhead) in Mendota for some great food!
