Starting at the junction of Covington Flats Crossover Road and Eureka Peak Road, continue on Eureka Peak Road for another mile and a half and you're there! It's not a technical ride by any stretch of the imagination, but it's got a nice uphill which makes the return super fun.

This short ride takes you through one of the less visited parts of the park where the Joshua Trees are more lush, and in the short distance you gain enough elevation to get into the junipers, pinyons, and manzanitas, plus the final payoff is a pretty expansive view of the Coachella Valley and San Jacinto Mountains.
