Where's the Beef will challenge you from beginning to end. The most common way to get to the head of the trail is via picnic basket connector or Tower road. You must climb the steps to the look out tower. The trail begins directly under the tower. The first section involves a rock garden. Try to keep your momentum to get through it. Then comes a steep descent where you pick up speed quickly. Trail follows the ridge line with easy turns, a few rocks and roots. Midway you are presented with a choice to go straight for a quick steep downhill or hang left to do the wooden wall ride. Take it easy dropping in to the first section then let off the brakes to roll the second section which is higher. Each section has a drop. Challenge your friends to see how high you can send it at the end. Next is a slight uphill. Don't forget to say hi to our friend "Beefer". There is a memorial to him on the left. All that's left is a few turns and back up a small hill to the gravel pit.
