Trinity Trails: Trinity Main to West Fork

Casual, flat ride along river. Great Fort Worth skyline view the whole way. Special, picturesque waterfalls just before reaching Airfield Falls Conservation Park. There is a water fountain on the trail about 1.0 mile before Airfield Falls Conservation Park.

Starts out flat and passes by a cute dog park, then some eateries. There are people and families fishing from the shore. Then, there are a few short sections with congestion, where restrooms are available.

Then, at the halfway point, at the west fork of the Trinity River it gets rural. Aside from a few pedestrians, it's open space all the way to Airfield Falls Conservation Park. There is a water fountain about one mile before the park. There also is a great shaded area with benches at the waterfalls just before the park.

Overall, about one third of the ride is shaded, and maybe one one-hundredth paved. Entire path follows along the river.
