Need to Know

V3+ difficulty. This is hard to evaluate, though. Do you base it on the hardest bit, or the average? There are short segments that are definitely harder on all the sections of this route.

Description

At Saint-Saturnin-Lès-Apt, the multi-day Grande Traversée de Vaucluse heads east and clockwise toward Viens and Vitrolles-en-Luberon. But you can opt for this counter-clockwise variation, instead.

Rode this in reverse. Hard, lots of pushing, and the segment of trail above the cliffs of Lioux would have been a real treat in the other direction.
