Family Friendly Flat and wide gravel trail.

Need to Know

Description

Old railroad bed almost the entire length. The trail leaves the railroad bed at Fox Park as it detours around the private community. Trail is often parallel to Forest Service roads, but traffic is light.

A quiet ride winding through the forest. Good opportunity for bikepacking shakedown cruise. Dog and kid friendly. Bring your own water. Outhouses at trailheads. Bugs can be a nuisance, but just get back on your bike and continue riding.

Some evidence of motorized traffic on the non-motorized trail.

Cows! Burned Forest! This is not a wilderness ride, but enjoyable. ~21 miles from end to end.
