The main parking area at Hardy Creek trailhead has an info kiosk, and a toilet. There are a lot of horses on the south end trails in summer. The north end where Geezer is, not so much. Be mindful of them, and their dung!

The north trailhead Amanda's Trail is the best direct access to Geezer. It can be accessed off both McBeth Loop and Leapfrog Loop, and rides equally well both ways.

Starting from the northern lobe of McBeth Loop, Geezer has its most sustained climb to its highest point in an open forest. On this climb, notice the features for riding going the opposite direction.

From the high point, the trail starts a fast, flowy descent with a small stump drop on the left followed by a larger stump drop/jump also on the left. All features have ride arounds. From the second drop, the trail gets steeper with a small rock garden followed by fast and flowy turns to the bottom where it turns right into a mostly flat section and into an older forest. A short, steep descending bench cut follows next and a couple of seasonal drainages separated by a rocky section.

After the second drainage, a rather steep section takes you to the top followed by a flat section that heads into an Alder forest, up another bench cut and down to a year round creek crossing that is a little difficult, left and up another good climb to a flat section with a few rollers, and back down to the last drainage which is followed by a steep climb out, so hit it with some speed to clean it.

At this point, the trail is flat and straight to Leapfrog Loop. This trail was just opened on 10-10-19 so treat the tender fresh tread with respect. One last note: Geezer is easy to follow, but MTB Project is the only map of it currently.
