The town of Battle Mountain isn't far.

Description

The first 3.0 miles or so has been trodden by livestock. Most markers are lying on the ground. The important ones are still standing. Can be difficult navigating because of this. Just keep the MTB Project mobile app open and follow along. There's a few offshoots of the trail that have different features. I wasn't able to ride these so if you find it, record it for the app!

Very Sandy / washed out. When it funnels into singletrack, it's fun. Lots of flies so bring repellent. A handful of bovine friends too. 5.6mi
