Description

The tour starts at the MMMA office in San Mateo Milpa Alta at 2400m. First we have to ride on asphalt around 5 km to reach the center of Santa Ana Tlacotenco, from there we have to ride through the so called Encinal forest until reaching the federal road which goes to Oaxtepec. We will cross to the old petrol station and then we will ride towards the safety gate, at this point we will take a short rest before starting the hardest uphill section called Pelagatos.

The Pelagatos uphill section implies riding 5 km and 500 m altitude gain, the end of the Pelagatos uphill road will take us to the base of the Cilcuayo mountain, from there the Tláloc volcano is not too far, only around 5 km. Once we have reached the Tláloc volcano base we will make a long break, enough time should be given to rest, eat and drink. You must have enough drinks and food with you, upstarts there is no chance to find anything. Make sure that at this point to make a nice picture of the group.

The tour continues around the Tláloc volcano, until reaching the starting point of the Endless Trail. It is going to be a very long trail, mainly downhill, that you must enjoy. The Endless Trail section is surrounded by very dense forest, it a very virgin and beautiful section. Despite it is downhill a lot of effort will be required.

After the Endless Trail section, we will be again on a wide road until reaching our very famous trail section called Tlaltenamic, the Tlaltenamic trail section is also a section that must be enjoyed, so please do not forget to do so. After finishing the Tlaltenamic section we will ride towards Milpa Alta center over some asphalt, we must not forget to go downhill over the main water section that feeds the Milpa Alta town, it is a very high adrenaline adventure. Before reaching the Milpa Alta center we will ride very challenging stone stairways to make the perfect closing of the life experience.
