Restrooms are available at various points on the trail. There are also numerous parking areas throughout.
Description
After you get through the road crossing sections and industrial area, this path cuts through some very nice forest areas and open grasslands. The end of the trail, the turn-around point, is at Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, IL.
The beginning of the trail can be hazardous, in the fact that there are many street crossings and limited viability due to trees on the trail. If moving fast, slow down to check for cars.
Once you get through all the cross roads in Aurora, you'll go through an industrial area, on road, but then the trail picks up again. The trail is well marked with signs.
From that point on, the trail is very enjoyable. Cutting through wooded areas and winding up and down through small hills and over bridges. It is a fairly flat and enjoyable ride. The trail also crosses the
Fox River Trail which heads north/south.
