Description

Black Elk starts on the west side of the parking lot at the kiosk. The first turn is 0.25 miles in and this section of trail winds through the disc golf course before dropping into The Thicket, a tight winding section that will test your cornering and tree avoidance skills!

The trail then winds south to the Fort where sweeping berms allow you to maximize your speed! Switch it Up climbs back to the top of the hill before taking you through the fast Pines descent and leg burning Pines climb. Your reward at the top of the climb is a large drop that sets you up for the Rock and Roll downhill portion that starts with a 12' table followed by two smaller tables.

The mellow Again Climb takes you back to the top of the hill where you can then take either the Prairie Down Hill directly back to the Again Climb, or you can session the Prairie Jumps, a blue jump line designed to teach beginner and intermediate jumping skills!

A quick run through the disc golf course takes you back to the parking lot after 5.25 miles of singletrack!

Had a great ride on this trail. Good mix of fun flowing downhill and gentle incline with good switchbacks to make the climbing fun.
