Overview

Starting from Parking Garage F (free to the public), this is pretty much a full loop of the MTB/mixed-use trails around Lake Claire and the Natural Lands that include the Arboretum. You'll experience several different ecosystems and a chance to see many native botanicals and wildlife.

Description

This route starts at Parking Garage F (free to the public) then turns to Lake Claire Loop where you'll take the Lake Claire Picnic Option before crossing a few small boardwalks at the northern most part of the route. From there, you'll continue around Lake Claire Loop, taking the Scrub Oak Option that can get a little sandy. The route continues over an arching bridge, through the parking area, along Gemini Blvd then tucks back in to the trees continuing behind the UCF towers.

You'll continue on paved road on Fire Station 65 - Lake Claire Loop to the grassy Fire Line Trail - Fire Station 65 that leads to the Arboretum area. Go west on Wildflower Loop (Yellow) continuing CCW then make a right back to Nature Pavilion Rd to get to the Turpentine Trail (Green).

From there, take a short run on Nature Pavilion Rd to the Fire Line to enjoy some flow. This leads to Knights Ridge (Red) with several small hills (humps) and boardwalks spanning low spots. Turn left immediately to No Name Trail 1 then exit on Knights Ridge Bypass to Fire Line Trail - Fire Station 65 then Fire Station 65 - Lake Claire Loop back to Parking garage F.
