This route starts in Ringwood Manor and follows a counterclockwise loop through the park. The same route can also be done from Lot A, Ryerson Middle School, or Shepherd Lake.

From the Ringwood Manor Parking lot, climb the Crossover Trail to lot A. Then find Morris Rd fire road behind the greenhouse and climb that across the pipeline to the Race Trail.

After crossing back across the pipeline, veer right to join the Skylands Trail which will become the Ringwood-Ramapo Trail (Red Blaze). Continue south to Skylands Rd, turn right and then head north on Black Bear Trail passing Ryerson School on the right.

Rejoin the Ringwood-Ramapo Trail (Red Blaze) and climb to Double 'S' Trail. Take Double 'S' Trail downhill, connecting to a clockwise loop around Six Bridges Trail. Connect to Cat's Nest / Renegade and then climb the fire road (Pierson Ridge Road) to the top of the Ridge.

At the end of Pierson Ridge Trail, turn left and take Crossover Trail downhill all the way back to Skylands Road. Head north to the intersection with Race Trail on the left and take that to Shepherd's Pond. Take the Alligator trail downhill from Shepherd's Pond to rejoin Crossover Trail.

At the intersection with Cooper Union Trail (yellow), head north, and then loop back at the State Line Trail (orange) back to Ringwood Manor.
