Description

This route is designed for cycling or off-road vehicles. The first place of interest after the Sardarapat Memorial is the Old Armavir archaeological site, where the inscriptions of the Armenian King Artavazd II were found.

The route passes through several villages, and reaches the largest Yezidi temple in the world, after which the road leads to the Metsamor historical-archaeological reserve-museum.

On the way, hikers or bikers can see lots of big birds and buffaloes. There are some lakes and water canals near the route.
