This road links up Cimarron to the Valle Vidal and makes possible a trans-Sangre de Cristo route.

Stay on FR 1950 the entire duration. Don't take any turns off the main road. Once you have reached the end of this route, the surrounding wilderness will become public and wild camping will be possible.
