There are several options for refreshments on Main Street as well as a Tops Market.

Description

This is a mostly flat gravel lined trail that travels along the Hudson River and North Creek. There is one hill as the trail loops around the old Tannery Pond dam. Nice views of the Hudson and the Creek. Trail starts at the North Creek train station. It was at this train station that Teddy Roosevelt learned that President McKinley was dead of a gunshot wound and Roosevelt would be the next president. The trail comes out behind the Tannery Pond Community Center where you cross Main Street and continue behind town hall. The trail goes under Route 28 on a bridge suspended under the highway and over the North Creek.
