Sentiero delle Meatte #152 was built in WW1 as a mule track that crosses the southern slopes of Monte Boccaor and Monte Meatte and connects the paved roads at Pian dela Bala and Malga Vedetta.

The slopes of Monte Boccaor are much rockier than those of Monte Meatte. Therefore, the trail on Monte Boccaor is a bit more difficult and exposed. That's why I decided to split the Sentiero delle Meatte #152.

I rode it uphill, from west to east, starting at Pian del Bala. The trail soon reaches the rocky flank of Monte Boccaor. The precipice is on your right. The steepest section is at the beginning and the ground there is rocky. It is not easy to stay on the bike, especially where the old path is buried by rock slide. Maybe you'll have to push the bike once or twice. You'll pass some old tunnels and the rope bridge of the Via Ferrata Sass Brusai.

On the saddle between Monte Boccaor and Monte Meatte, the trail becomes less steep and more gentle. Here a hiking trail enters from the left.
