Description
Start up Calle Cascabel to the top of
Pista Pista. Follow signs to
Las Minitas, which takes you to the top of the ridge. Drop down the back side of
Las Minitas, and stay left at forks to
Nonato.
Continue taking left forks to
Las Palmas.
Las Palmas has some sandy sections to grind through and you'll see a trail sign for
Punta Gorda. Arroyo crossing is a bit sandy and loose but you'll soon be on the
Punta Gorda out-and-back.
Stay left at the trail split for the descent (other trail is better for climbing return). Several fun rock rollovers that are all clean rollovers. Continue along the trail for stunning views. The trail ends at a beautiful beach.
Return on
Punta Gorda and take John's Java to Slim Jim to return to the trailhead.
