Description
Pony is a multi-use trail so be aware that one may encounter pedestrians along the trail.
Pony begins at the south end of the
Comeback Loop. It crosses the
Crushed Limestone Trail shortly thereafter. The start of
Deroin is just after the crossing branching to the right. Go left to continue on Pony. The trail descends and offers some rollers that experienced riders can get a little air from. As the trail approaches another crossing of the
Crushed Limestone Trail, it intersects with the north end of
Goat and the end of
Deroin. One can ride
Goat from here but do not enter the end of
Deroin as it is a one-way trail.
Cross the
Crushed Limestone Trail to continue on Pony. It goes downhill and has more rollers to play on before it starts climbing uphill. Watch for riders traveling in the opposite direction as there is a feature at the top for those traveling south to north. At the top is a drop on the right with an associated bypass. Keep to the left and continue the climb to the top of this hill. Once at the top, the trail continues but one can session the drop from here as well.
Continuing south from the drop zone, the trail starts descending again with more playful rollers. After this descent is a tree skinny as the trail begins to climb once more as it approaches the
Crushed Limestone Trail. Pony ends here and one can continue downhill via
Goat or loop back to the north.
