Wildlife closure from December 1 - April 15. One Way Only: This is designated as a directional trail.

Description

This trail is a directional (downhill) trail for mountain bikes only. Built by Singletrack Designs in 2022, this is the most fun trail in the CMC system. Going with the theme of trails named after student archetypes, this trail is the most fun you'll get for the least amount of work.

Drop off the Spring Valley Summit and bear right at the signed intersection. Cross the road and enter the gate which is well signed. A hip jump (with an optional ride-around) starts the fun and the trail descends through a mile of purpose-built downhill flow trail. There are jumps, drops, and tons of berms. The trail does have several sections with drops that do not roll, all of which have ride-arounds. Pre-riding is suggested.

At the bottom, there is a sweet table-top and the trail exits onto Swoop's Loop (Spring Valley Loop). Go straight to return to the trailhead (or take another lap) or take a sharp left to go around Swoop's Loop.

Please note this trail is on the property of Colorado Mountain College. Please follow all posted rules, including no dogs and respecting wildlife closures. And of course, ride at your own risk.

Come in prepared to get some air and you'll have a blast. Not as much fun for those who want to keep both wheels on the ground — 0h 07m
